In the midst of lockdown I found a great source of photographic inspiration within the confines of my back garden in the form of insects, flowers and water reflections. In the beginning I experimented by adding a 4 x magnifying filter to my standard Nikon 18-105 mm lens. The next setup I tried was with extension tubes plus a 1 x magnifying filter. Results were ok with these relatively inexpensive methods but not quite as good as I really wanted. So finally I took the plunge and purchased a dedicated 105 mm Macro lens which I have used for most, but not all of the images in this collection. Mick Arnold
